SOME IRAQI POLITICIANS WHO AREN'T LIFTING A FINGER FOR NATIONAL UNITY

Oh, those lazy, ungrateful "Iraqi politicians." Has anyone been more relentlessly attacked by the Dhimmicrat/MSM axis the past 6 months, even by some Republicans?

Well, we here at Jewish Odysseus strive above all for FAIRNESS. Iraqi politicians, like politicians everywhere, are human beings, and surely possess their human quota of venality, selfishness, pettiness, and cowardice. But being a politician in Iraq from 2003 to 2007 really presents a certain TYPE of challenge that politicians elsewhere almost never have to address: like how to complete a dinner visit with your brother without getting shot dead at the front door, or how to drive down the road without getting blown up, or how to do your job without having your whole family murdered while you're at the office.

Surely this challenge needs some recognition by fair-minded people everywhere? Yet how often do we hear about it?

Keep the following names and faces (and notice how many are faceless, it wasn't for lack of trying here!) in mind the next time you hear the Dhims and MSM braying about those worthless "Iraqi politicians". And remember one more thing: this is a very fractional, partial list, that doesn't include assistants to the big-shots, mayors of small towns and villages, lesser-known sheikhs, military officials, murdered family members, or those whose deaths may have been reported only in the Arabic press. If some readers would like to forward names we've missed, we'll be happy to add them to the roll:

Thank you for posting that, J.O. I have had the same thoughts innumerable times; how cheap and easy it is to knock these courageous politicians! A very moving post.

May Iraq find the peace they are looking for sooner rather than later.

Juanita, thanks for your comments!

Notice that the MSM NEVER reports any successful/heroic operations by IRAQI forces (they show perhaps 2% of our successful operations)!! If they reported that, it wd show the American people that we have worthy allies in Iraq who are willing to sacrifice for their own freedom

I can 100% guarantee you this is the propaganda strategy of the Left/MSM: convince the American people that the Iraqis aren't WORTHY of our help, so "to hell with them." This has been their modus operandi since the Korean War (US troops were in S Korea for ~35 years before the country really stabilized as a democracy... the Left wanted us to abandon them back when Syngman Rhee was in power in the '50s).

They need to suppress the information about our allies being murdered in order to further their strategy. We need to fight to get the truth out.

Great post and great blog, too! I would nominate "Politician in Iraq," for the world's most dangerous job...no longer Alaskan crab fishing in the Bering Sea. Keep up the great work and I'll be back often to catch the latest!
L'Shalom....
